We don’t rush batteries out the door. We do five things so it works when you hit the button:

1. Fill with 1.265 SG electrolyte to spec.
2. Let it soak so the glass mat pulls in the electrolyte.
3. Slow, high-frequency charge (~900 mA) to form the plates.
4. Let it rest and verify it holds 12.6–12.8V.
5. Final check. Then it ships ready to install.

Pro Tip: Want it to last 8–12 years? After you park, plug in the included maintainer. That habit keeps it topped up and ready.
