Carnelian

A glassy, translucent stone, Carnelian is an orange-colored variety of Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. The ancient Egyptians called Carnelian "the setting sun." It was used in jewellery for sun disks, and to represent the eye of Horus.
