TL;DR: Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Medium Breed Puppy is a chicken-based dry dog food made for medium-breed puppies with an expected adult weight of roughly 11–25 kg, from weaning through about 12 months of age. It's for owners of growing medium-breed dogs who want a formula matched to their puppy's adult size category. Available in 4 lb, 17 lb, and 30 lb bags.
Medium-breed puppies grow quickly, and their nutritional needs sit between those of small and large breeds. This royal canin puppy food is built for that middle range, with kibble shaped and sized for a medium puppy's jaw.
Matching food to your puppy's expected adult weight is a more useful starting point than choosing a single all-breeds formula.

Who is it for?
This royal canin puppy medium formula is made for puppies of medium-sized breeds — Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, and similar dogs expected to reach roughly 11–25 kg as adults. It covers the puppy stage, generally from weaning up to about 12 months.
If your puppy sits outside that weight range, compare the Royal Canin - Size Health Nutrition Large Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food or the Royal Canin - Size Health Nutrition Small Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food. When your medium-breed dog reaches its senior years, the Royal Canin - Size Health Nutrition Medium Breed Adult 7+ Years Dry Dog Food continues the same size-based approach.
Which bag size should you choose?
The 4 lb bag is a practical way to trial the formula or feed a younger puppy eating small daily portions. The 17 lb bag suits regular feeding without long storage, while the 30 lb bag is the better value per pound for households feeding daily over several weeks.
Feeding & use
Follow the feeding chart printed on the bag, which sets daily portions by your puppy's current weight and age. Split the daily amount across two or three meals and always provide fresh water.
When switching to this royal canin medium puppy formula, transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of the new food with the current one. Store kibble in a sealed container in a cool, dry place to keep it fresh between meals.
Available for same-day pickup at our North York, Toronto storefront, or ships Canada-wide.
