ABS trap adapter that takes a drain run from rough-in to finish under a sink — the hub solvent-welds to the 1½" ABS wall stub, and the threaded spigot accepts the included plastic slip nut and washer to seal onto a P-trap or tailpiece. That slip-joint outlet is the connection that lets you tighten by hand onto a chrome, PVC, or brass tubular tailpiece and break it apart again for service without tools or cement.
