Its 10 appliqué shapes make it easy to create detailed koalas without tracing templates or cutting tiny pieces by hand. Cut up to four of each pre-fused shape in a single pass, then combine favourite fat quarters and colourful scraps for a cuddly character that finishes at 4" wide x 7 1/8" high (10.2 cm x 18.1 cm).

How to Die Cut Koala Shapes:

Apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions before cutting for fusible appliqué. Place fabric right sides together to cut mirrored pairs. Approximate yields below use the stated rectangle orientation and allow no extra fabric for shrinkage or trimming.

• Body — Cut and fuse a 6" x 3 1/2" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 11 bodies across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 66 bodies.
• Leg — Cut and fuse a 2 3/8" x 3 1/2" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 11 legs across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 176 legs.
• Arm — Cut and fuse a 2 1/2" x 2" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 19 arms across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 285 arms.
• Ear — Cut and fuse a 2 1/4" x 2 1/8" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 18 ears across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 306 ears.
• Small Shapes — Place pre-fused scraps over the selected blades and cut. Yield varies with scrap size and placement.
