The Bernina Binder Attachment #87 guides pre-folded bias tape around fabric edges to create neat, even finishes on garments, home furnishings and quilts. Its attached bias-tape feeder keeps the tape positioned as you sew, making it easier to achieve a consistent bound edge. Choose the attachment width to suit your pre-folded tape, and pair it with the required Binder Foot #95 or #95C, sold separately.

Key Features:

• Neat Bound Edges — Applies pre-folded bias tape for an even, attractive finish on clothing, home décor and quilting projects.
• Bias-Tape Feeder — Guides the tape around the fabric edge to simplify handling and support consistent placement.
• Three Tape Widths — Choose the attachment for 13 mm (approximately 1/2"), 20 mm (approximately 3/4") or 25 mm (approximately 1") pre-folded bias tape.
• Required Binder Foot — Must be used with Binder Foot #95 or #95C. The foot is not included and is sold separately.
• Compatible Models — This listing offers options labelled 5.5 mm in three tape widths; see variant selector above. Confirm your BERNINA machine model and the correct binder foot before ordering.

How to Know Which Attachment You Need:

• Match Your Tape Width — Select the 13 mm, 20 mm or 25 mm attachment to match the width of your pre-folded bias tape. These measurements describe the tape size, not the machine’s stitch width.
• Check Machine and Foot Compatibility — The binder attachment and presser foot are separate components. Confirm which Binder Foot #95 or #95C suits your machine; neither foot is included with this attachment.
