For those unfamiliar, Castile Soap has historically been referred to as “true soap.” The first versions were made in the Castile region of Spain from local olive oil, and by the turn of the century, “Castile” had come to refer to any vegetable oil-based soap, as opposed to the animal fat-based soaps of the era. Today, TJ's Multi-Purpose Peppermint Castile Soap is made with a gentle, nourishing blend of organic olive, coconut, hemp, and jojoba oils, plus organic peppermint oil to invigorate your senses. It’s a natural, low-lather soap, free from synthetic dyes, sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, and when we say it’s Multi-Purpose, we mean it.
