TL;DR: This & That Chicken Bangers are soft, sausage-style dog treats made with chicken as the featured protein, in a grain-free recipe. They suit dogs of any breed or life stage — including puppies — and owners who want a short, predictable ingredient list for training, travel, and everyday rewards.

Chicken Bangers are meat-first and protein-forward, which is why they appeal to owners already feeding limited ingredients dog food. The soft-chewy sausage shape breaks cleanly into smaller pieces, so a single banger can cover several training repetitions.

Because the recipe is grain-free, these treats slot in alongside your dog's regular meals without adding fillers. They're gentle enough for puppies and tempting enough to motivate a slower-moving senior.

Who is it for?

Chicken Bangers suit active dogs working through training sessions, picky eaters who need a flavour boost on their kibble, and households that prefer grain-free recipes. The soft texture also makes them an easier option for dogs that struggle with hard biscuits.

Building a rotation of high-value rewards? Pair them with This & That - Duck Bangers Dog Treats for a protein switch. For longer-lasting chews, look at This & That - Great Canadian Sticks Dog Treats or This & That - Classic Duck Feet Dog Treats.

How do you use Chicken Bangers?

Serve them whole as a standalone reward, or break them into smaller pieces when pace matters more than portion size. They also crumble well over a bowl as a topper for reluctant eaters.

For recall practice and loose-leash work, pre-break a few pieces into a dog treat pouch before you head out so your hands stay free. Keep the dog treat bag closed between sessions to protect the soft texture.

Feed alongside a complete and balanced diet — treats should not replace regular meals, and fresh water should always be available.

Why choose a Canadian-made dog treat?

This & That is a Canadian-made dog food brand, and Chicken Bangers fit naturally into a meat-first feeding routine. The single-protein, grain-free format keeps ingredient lists short and predictable, which is the same logic behind feeding limited ingredients dog food.
