Dynaflex™ SC Security Tamper Resistant
Description: Dynaflex™ SC is a tamper-resistant, one-part, non-sag elastomeric STPU (silyl-terminated polyurethane) joint sealant. It combines the strengths of two-component security sealants with the ease of application of a one-component sealant.
Basic Uses:
- Ideal for expansion and control joints, window and door perimeter joints, protrusions and penetrations, vents, and around fixtures.
- Suitable for masonry-to-masonry, masonry-to-metal, and metal-to-metal joints.
Features & Benefits:
- High tensile and tear strengths, abrasion resistance, and an average ultimate hardness of at least 55.
- Withstands 25% of total joint movement.
- Flexible and rugged, suitable for institutional and correctional facilities, as well as other public buildings.
- More flexible than epoxy and available in two standard colours, which can be painted to blend with adjacent surfaces.
Specifications:
- Meets Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class B and ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 12.5, Use T1, M, G, A, and O.
Colors: Available in Limestone and Tru-White.
Limitations:
- Not for use in active joints with movement greater than 12.5% in compression or extension.
- Avoid use in areas exposed to harsh chemicals like acids, strong alkalis, and ketones.
- Not suitable for polycarbonate substrates.
