TL;DR: NZPF Meow - Venison Lung Air Dried Cat Treats are single-ingredient venison cat treats made from air-dried New Zealand venison lung. They suit adult cats on raw, limited-ingredient, or sensitivity-aware diets, and owners who want a hypoallergenic reward with one named protein and nothing else.

Each piece is venison lung, air-dried to remove moisture without cooking, so the treat stays light, crunchy, and free of fillers or grains. Most cats take to the texture quickly, whether offered by hand or crumbled over a meal.

What makes this air dried cat food different?

Air drying uses low, steady airflow to draw out moisture while leaving the protein structure largely intact — a gentler process than baking or extrusion. The result is a nutrient-dense bite with a single named protein and no bulking ingredients.

Because there is only one ingredient, the label is easy to read: venison lung. That simplicity is the main reason owners of sensitive cats reach for this air dried cat food format.

Specifications

Who is it for?

These venison cat treats are aimed at adult cats who do better on novel or limited-ingredient proteins, including cats fed raw or allergy-aware diets. Venison is a less common protein than chicken or fish, which makes it useful for protein rotation or for cats that react to more typical options.

If your cat has a diagnosed health condition, confirm dietary suitability with your veterinarian before adding any new treat.

Feeding a multi-pet household? There's a dog-format version of the same protein: NZPF Woof - Venison Lung Air Dried Dog Treats.

Feeding & use

Offer as a reward, a training aid, or a topper crumbled over your cat's regular meal. Break larger pieces into smaller bites for senior cats, and keep fresh water available alongside any dry treat.

Treats should make up no more than about 10% of your cat's daily calories, with the rest coming from a complete and balanced diet.

What else pairs well with it?

If your cat enjoys this one, you may also like NZPF Meow - Wild Goat Freeze Dried Cat Treats for another novel protein, or NZPF Meow - Chicken & Salmon Air Dried Cat Treats for a more familiar flavour. Rotating two or three single-protein treats keeps training sessions interesting without adding fillers to the bowl.
