A certified organic coffee from Papua New Guinea, roasted medium to bring out the notes of apricot, banana, and molasses.

This release comes from the Timuza Coffee Cooperative in Papua New Guinea, representing over 200 smallholder farmers of the Kamano tribal group in the highlands near Kainantu. Grown at elevations of 1,420–1,600 meters, these coffees thrive in fertile black and reddish loam soils, shaded by native casuarina and albizia trees.

Each family tends an average of 1.4 hectares, often alongside small food gardens cultivating sweet potato, taro, and cassava—creating a deeply rooted connection between coffee and daily life. Through local partnerships, farmers are supported with training in financial management, gender equity, and improved cultivation and processing practices, strengthening both quality and community resilience.

In the cup, this coffee is expressive yet grounded—layering soft stone fruit sweetness with ripe banana and a rich molasses finish. Its balance and depth make it a versatile choice, whether brewed as an espresso or filter.
