TL;DR: Carna4 Hand Crafted Chicken Dry Dog Food is a Canadian-made whole-food kibble built around fresh chicken, chicken liver, and whole eggs, with no meat meals, by-products, or synthetic vitamin premix. It's made for adult dogs and owners who want a minimally processed, ingredient-first diet, and it comes in 3 lb, 6 lb, and 13 lb bags.

Unlike conventional extruded kibble, this Carna4 dog food is gently baked and then air-dried. The two-step process is designed to preserve enzymes, antioxidants, and probiotics that high-heat processing can damage.

Sprouted seeds, whole fruits, and vegetables supply naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, so no synthetic premix is added to the recipe.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This carna4 chicken dog food suits adult dogs whose owners want a whole-food diet built on real meat, eggs, and plant ingredients rather than a synthetic vitamin premix. It's a sensible choice if you read ingredient panels closely and prefer short, recognizable lists.

The 3 lb bag works well as a trial size for a single dog, while the 13 lb bag is the most economical option for multi-dog households in the GTA.

What are the main ingredients in Carna4 chicken dog food?

The recipe centres on fresh chicken, chicken liver, and whole eggs as primary protein sources, with lamb also appearing in the protein profile. Sprouted seeds, whole fruits, and vegetables round out the formula, contributing fibre and naturally occurring micronutrients.

There are no meat meals, by-products, synthetic vitamins, or artificial preservatives. Owners comparing carna4 chicken dog food reviews often cite the baked-and-air-dried process and the absence of a synthetic premix as the main points of difference.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting portions for your dog's weight and activity level. When switching from another food, transition over 7–10 days by gradually increasing the Carna4 portion to give your dog's digestion time to adapt.

Store the bag in a cool, dry place with the top sealed, and keep fresh water available at all times. Choose from 3 lb, 6 lb, or 13 lb depending on household size and how quickly you go through a bag.
