What Is Matcha? The Ultimate Guide to Japanese Matcha Green Tea
Discover the history, health benefits, preparation methods, and why matcha has become one of the world's most popular Japanese foods. What Is Matcha? This slow process creates matcha's smooth texture and vibrant green color. Matcha vs Green Tea: What Is the Difference? Matcha Green Tea Form Fine powder Whole leaves Preparation Whisked into water Steeped in hot water Tea leaf Entire leaf consumed Leaves removed Flavor Rich, smooth, umami taste Light and refreshing Uses Drinks, desserts, cooking Mainly beverages Both are healthy Japanese teas, but matcha provides a completely different experience.
