Oh man...this is the biggest problem in Canada.
Internet Wi-Fi: The first store, the Main Street store, uses TELUS.
The New Westminster store also consulted with TELUS.
We will arrange for an engineer and contact you within 48 hours!
I waited and waited but there was no response… I sent a reminder and they said the engineer hadn’t been arranged yet.
Wait a minute.
A week has passed and I received another reminder, but the situation hasn't changed... (´;ω;`) Ugh
First time consulting Rogers.
Wow, it was smooth and friendly!!
We discussed it over lunch, arranged for an engineer on the spot, and he arrived the next day!!!
However, the key to the tenant's machine room won't open...and unless it opens, the work to install the Internet Wi-Fi can't proceed...
On the first day, it ended up not opening...but when it did open, we were contacted...by an engineer who made the effort to come.
I'm sorry...
After consulting with the management company and the neighboring tenants, we discovered that the emergency passageway at the Comedy House on Columbia Street was connected to the machine room!!
I asked for their contact information, met with a Rogers engineer, and had the back door opened.
Finally!!! The machine room is open!!!
Everyone there went crazy (laughs).
finally open! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
As someone who is extremely bad with machines, internet Wi-Fi has always been a problem for me...
There were some twists and turns this time as well, but I'm able to update the blog safely!! ❤
All that's left is to bring in the merchandise and set up the POS register.
We could open right away, but the location is not good and there is a shelter two doors down.
There are also a few homeless people.
Children are soon on summer vacation, and there are few events for children in Canada.
As a parent, how should you spend this long summer vacation?
My wife and I are worried.
Surely there are parents out there who feel the same way?
So, since we have a lot of free space in the store and we want people to know about the store, we are thinking of holding a free event for children that is also Japanese in style (^^♪
Once the details have been decided, we will announce them on our blog and social media.
This has been a long introduction, but here is our second store, the New Westminster store.
525 Front St, New Westminster, BC V3L 1A4
We hope you will continue to support our Main Street store!
It's been two months since we opened the Konnichiwa Mart KIDS & BABY store.
Thanks to the support of many customers, our store is growing rapidly.
Thank you so much♥️
And then we signed a lease to open our second store.
I just received the key! 🔑✨
※The problem is that when you enter an address into Google Maps, it points to a different location (700 meters away lol)😂
The location will be New Westminster.
The location is not good, but my garage is already full of piles of cardboard boxes and I can't fit them in...📦💦
A mail order shipping center will also be required, so the store will function as a store, warehouse, and mail order shipping center.
We have also increased our part-time staff, and currently have five people, but we will continue to recruit more quickly! ♥️
We aim to continue to provide a good environment for raising children while also providing entertainment, which is scarce in Canada, along with Japanese culture! 🇯🇵💖🇨🇦
Finally, building a store from scratch by myself again... I hope my back doesn't die lol 🙏😂
hello everyone!
I'm Manat, a Nigerian expatriate 🇳🇬
This time, I'd like to move away from the topic of gloves and talk about my actual experiences living in Nigeria.
"Nigerian thing"
I would like to introduce it to you! 😮
That's... what you need to do when there's a power outage in Nigeria! 🇳🇬
In Nigeria, when there is a power outage, not only does the electricity go out, but often the water is also cut off. 💧😱
In other words, I can't use the toilet or take a shower (or bathe)...! 🚽🚿❌
So what do we do in those situations? We go outside with a bucket, fill the tank with water, and bring it back to our room to use.
They use it to flush the toilet and wash their bodies instead of taking a shower, so their life relies on manual labor.
Actually, this happened again recently...and it continued like this for over two weeks.
Moreover, the temperature outside was over 35℃ every day. It was quite hard!
In Japan, this might be considered a disaster-level incident, but here it's just "a common occurrence!" 😅
Nigeria is a country where lifelines are still not stable.
It is said that it will develop in five years, but will that really happen?
Thank you for reading to the end! 🙏
I would like to continue to share these real-life aspects of life in Nigeria from time to time, so please continue to follow me!
