      Description

What is Wild-Harvested Canadian Fireweed Tea?

Wild-Harvested Canadian Fireweed Tea is a rare, single-origin herbal tea made from the hand-picked blossoms of the Fireweed plant. Known for its mild, floral flavor and antioxidant properties, this tea offers a taste of the Canadian wilderness while supporting digestive health.

I'm Sarah, and I hand-harvested this fireweed from the Rossland Range in the Kootenays during peak summer bloom. Fireweed's pink torches light up disturbed landscapes—a pioneer species bringing life back to the land. Every batch is wildcrafted and processed by hand in limited seasonal quantities.

      General Information:
Fireweed is a resilient and vibrant plant, known for its striking pink-purple flowers that bloom in summer, often around early July in cooler climates. Thriving in recently disturbed or open areas, fireweed is a pioneer species, bringing life and color to landscapes. Its symmetrical four-petaled flowers and tall, willow-like leaves make it easily recognizable. In the Kootenays, our fireweed is wild-harvested with care, ensuring sustainability and preserving its natural potency.

      How to Use:
      Hot Infusion:

      1. Place 2-3 tablespoons of dried fireweed in a teapot or cup.
      2. Pour hot water over the herbs and cover with a lid.
      3. Steep for 10-30 minutes to extract antioxidants, vitamins, and flavonoids.
      4. Strain and squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Enjoy!

      Tips:

      • Sweeten your tea with honey, stevia, or licorice root powder for added flavor.
      • For a refreshing summer treat, freeze the tea into ice cubes or popsicle molds.
