Details: This fun reminder of comic books and science fiction serials features an alien (Dick Sands) who becomes invisible when his spacesuit is removed. After setting down, he inadvertently kills two people in Santa Monica who attack him because of his menacing appearance inside the suite. Pursued by scientists and government agents, the alien must make his way back to his ship in order to survive. 'Phantom From Space' is a more thoughtful, interesting and likable exploitation of 1950s UFO hysteria than many of its better known contemporaries.
