Selenite

Selenite is a calm stone that instills deep peace and is excellent for meditation or spiritual work. It brings clarity of mind, opening the crown chakra and accessing angelic consciousness and higher guidance. Psychologically, it assists judgement and insight. Mentally, it cleans confusing and aids in seeing the deeper picture. It brings about a conscious understanding of what has been occurring at the subconscious level.

Natural opaque Selenite logs with a very beautiful sheen and pearly-white milky color as well as being somewhat opaque, shaped like a long cubic shape of a cut crystal with a series of ridges and marks running along its length.

Ancient Greeks called this crystal Selenite, which means moon. Due to it's translucent nature, Selenite was also once used as windows in temples and the homes of nobles because it's opaque nature allowed light to shine through and disperse throughout the room.
