TL;DR: Purina Pro Plan Specialized LiveClear Chicken & Rice is a complete and balanced dry cat food for adult cats that reduces the major cat allergen (Fel d 1) in cat hair and dander by an average of ~47% after three weeks of daily feeding. Real chicken is the first ingredient, and a specialized egg-derived protein drives the allergen-reduction effect. It's made for households where someone is sensitive to cat allergens.
This purina liveclear cat food is built around two goals: everyday adult maintenance nutrition and a measurable reduction in the Fel d 1 allergen that affects many people living with cats. It's formulated for long-term daily feeding, not a short-term fix.
What makes LiveClear different?
A specific protein sourced from eggs binds to Fel d 1 in your cat's saliva. When your cat grooms, less active allergen transfers to hair and dander — studies cited by Purina show an average ~47% reduction after about three weeks of daily feeding.

Who is it for?
This chicken cat food dry recipe is aimed at adult cats in homes where someone is sensitive to cat allergens, or where owners simply want to lower the allergen load indoors. It also suits owners who want a straightforward chicken-and-rice recipe with added digestive support.
It is not formulated for kittens, pregnant or nursing cats, or cats with specific therapeutic diet needs.
Feeding & use
Feed as a complete daily diet — the allergen reduction only happens when LiveClear is your cat's regular food, with results typically noticeable from around week three. Transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts with your cat's current food, and keep fresh water available at all times.
Follow the feeding guide on the bag based on your cat's body weight, and adjust portions to maintain a healthy body condition.
