Details: The album “Here We Are” showcases Andie’s signature New Country style. And there’s a little ‘something’ for every fan’s taste; the album explores an array of subjects, emotions and sounds, from upbeat Country pop folk vibes on the title track “Here We Are” to a slick Modern Countrified fun cover of the Joan Jett classic “I Hate Myself for Loving You” to pure southern edge amped up to 10 on “Stop Kicking My Heart Around” to everything in-between. The album also dials it down on a few songs with a more traditional Country sound with the ballad, “This Heart of Mine” which features Andie’s vocal strength, range, color and delivery. One song on this album that especially hits home to Andie as a cancer survivor herself is “A Mom and Her Son”, a touching true story about a mom having to deal with her young son’s battle with cancer. The stunning country folk song “Take What You Want” a song about spousal abuse. The album then turns into a party time with great danceable infectious country grooves like “Go All Night” “Show Me Now” and “Lock Stock and Barrel”.
