SCS1700 Sanitary Sealant

Description: SCS1700 forms a permanently flexible seal with excellent, long-term adhesion to help keep out unwanted moisture, even in hot and humid locales. This waterproof, heat-resistant silicone with added fungicide is designed to perform inside and out, wherever mold and mildew could be a problem.

Features:

• Mold and mildew resistance: Fungicide in the cured sealant resists both mold and mildew
• 100% silicone: One-part, acetoxy cure sealant
• Exceptional durability: Proven, long-term resistance to extreme temperatures, UV radiation, rain, snow, and wind with negligible change in elasticity
• Temperature range: Remains elastic from -55°F (-48°C) to 300°F (149°C); withstands short-term, intermittent exposure up to 400°F (204°C)
• Movement capability: ±25% movement capability, with excellent extension and compression cycling

• Ideal for swimming pool facilities, locker rooms, and bathrooms
• Bonds securely to a variety of substrates and finishes, including glass, ceramic, porcelain, tiles, stainless steel, plastics, glazed surfaces, imitation marble, aluminum, and many composite materials

• Easy hot and cold condition gunning and tooling
• Removable cartridge nozzle for consistent bead size
• Wide application temperature range from 40°F to 122°F
• The low-sag formula that remains in place until fully cured
