Details: ACTIVE INGREDIENT : Chlorhexidine (as digluconate) 3% w/v USES: For use on dogs. Antiseptic mousse to aid in the treatment of superficial skin conditions caused by bacteria, fungi, ringworm and yeasts that are responsive to chlorhexidine. This product is antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic and is intended to be used adjunctively in protocols for the management of skin conditions under the supervision of your veterinarian. DIRECTIONS: Shake well. Apply on dry, unmatted coat. Dispense 1-2 pumps in hand and massage into coat for product to reach skin. Repeat as necessary to cover target area or whole body until appropriate dose has been achieved. Avoid areas around eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, brush coat. May be used once or twice a week or as directed by your veterinarian for the specific disorder being treated. May be used in a management protocol with other DOUXO products – consult your veterinarian for guidance on the protocol. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Dogs that are hypersensitive to any component of this formulation should not be treated with this product. WARNINGS: Keep out of reach of children. CAUTIONS: For topical use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If skin irritation occurs or increases, discontinue use and consult with your veterinarian. STORAGE: Store in a dry place at temperature not exceeding 25ºC. Protect from freezing. NUMBER OF PUMPS RECOMMENDED: Dog ≤ 6kg: 1 pump per kg, Dog > 6kg: 1 pump per 2 kg. Dosage may be doubled for long-haired breeds.
