Details: The CeraVe Acne Control Gel is a full-face acne treatment with 2% salicylic acid that helps clear acne pimples and prevent new acne breakouts from developing. Alongside BHA’s (salicylic acid), the acne gel also includes niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and a blend of AHA’s (glycolic acid and lactic acid) that work together to help clear acne pimples and prevent new acne breakouts from forming, helping target acne pimples more effectively and minimizing the appearance of enlarged pores. This acne gel is oil-free and formulated without drying alcohol, helping it provide gentle exfoliation without stripping and drying the skin or compromising the skin barrier. Like other CeraVe products, the acne gel is formulated with 3 essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) which help the product restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier while fighting acne. The acne gel is enriched with niacinamide which helps calm the skin, and hyaluronic acid which helps hydrate and further restore and protect the skin barrier.
