Hello everyone!

My name is Amir and I am a Nigerian expatriate.

My 30 days of fasting and prayer in Nigeria has finally come to an end.

We offered our prayers on March 30th and celebrated on the same day ✨️

In Islam, fasting is compulsory for everyone over the age of 20 .

This is based on the teachings of the holy book, the Quran.

This is because Ramadan is the "month of forgiveness," an opportunity for people to atone for their past misdeeds before God and be reborn as pure and sinless beings .

This month is also a time when both poor and rich learn to understand the suffering of hunger and thirst through experience, and to cultivate the heart to help those in need .

Additionally, Muslims are expected to abstain from alcohol during this period and single people should abstain from all desires.

And starting today, life returns to normal for Muslims around the world.
