My name is Omata and I am a staff member involved in running Hello Mart in Japan.

I work in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

Every February, Sapporo holds an event called the Snow Festival, where many tourists can see many snow sculptures.

There are also snow slides for children, snow sculptures of popular Japanese characters, and a stage made out of snow to resemble a building, all of which are great sights to see.

The Snow Festival also features ice sculptures that are not well known.

At night, it is lit up, and you can see the beauty of ice, which snow cannot match.

Part of the road is closed off so you can see many ice sculptures while you are traveling, adding color to Sapporo at night.

Konnichiwa Mart operates in four locations: Hokkaido, Tokyo, Canada, and Nigeria.
