Urban Nostalgia Volume 1 is as close to those early party rockers as you can get on a major label. Using the \"urban\" definition of nostalgia, where two- and three-year-old songs are considered old school, the Crew mix together hip-hop and soul classics like Boyz II Men's \"Motown Philly,\" De La Soul's \"Me, Myself \u0026amp; I,\" LL Cool J's \"Doin' It,\" and, oddly, Ol' Dirty Bastard's \"Shimmy Shimmy Ya,\" cutting up the tracks with their own between-song patter.
